8 months later...

I knew I hadn't blogged in forever, but I was hugely surprised to see that it's been nearly 8 months. A great many things have gone down in 8 months, and perhaps I'll gloss upon them to the sake of keeping records, but the sole point of this blog entry is to serve as a gateway blog post.
