But what if you're playing video games as an outcome of distraction?

Interesting article on how to rebuild an attention span.  Unfortunately I can't find the time or focus to finish it right now so I'll have to get to it later.  If anyone gets through it and can answer the question in the subject of this blog post let me know.

  1. An age old observation parents always comment on when a child is diagnosed with ADHD - "Why cant he pay attention in school if he can play hours of video game?"
    Simple answer - Video games stimulate the brain. Years ago in the age of hand helds (game boy)a good strategy was to give a child 20 minutes of game play prior to a task that required focus adn organization of thought. It works similar to a ultra short acting dose of ritalin
